Build a Bench

Taking a look at something that’s just sitting there and thinking “now what can I do with this?” When this cast iron bed frame fell out of the back of a friend's truck on the way to the dump, imagination was sparked. Rather than add to a landfill, the frame was used as inspiration for this beautiful hardwood bench. Reclaimed porch wood was sanded, stained, and sealed with lacquer to create the base while the decorative curves of the bed frame made for an eye-catching back piece.
